Description / Synopsis
Fred Rydholm begins by giving a brief background about his family’s migration from Sweden and their life in Marquette in the early 20th century. Rydholm then moves on to discuss his childhood and schooling in Marquette. He discusses how, despite his background in science, he has written several volumes about local Upper Peninsula history. He discusses why he is so interested in this subject and how he became so knowledgeable about it. Rydholm also discusses his tree farm, Prohibition, the books he has written, and his love of stories and storytelling. |
