Photograph showing the self-unloader "Carl D. Bradley" in the St. Mary's River. She was the largest ship on the lakes when built in 1927 and sank in Lake Michigan in November 1958 with 33 of 35 crewmen lost. The "Bradley" had the honor of being the first ship to lock through the new MacArthur Lock at the Sault in July 1943. |
