This collection consists of meeting minutes and agendas created by the Marquette County Board of Commissioners during regular, special, and committee meetings from 1852 to 2005. The records in this collection document the political, economic, and environmental history of Marquette County, Michigan. County-level government was formally organized on April 4, 1848. 

The meeting minutes for the board from 1854 to 1978 can be found in the "Supervisor's Proceedings" folder. Meeting minutes after 1978 are in the "Board of Commissioners" folder. All other folders document specific sub-committees and topics. The analog collection includes many undigitized videos of county board meetings.
