Armas K.E. Holmio Finnish American Biographical File Name Index

Rev. Dr. Armas K.E. Holmio, Finlandia University's (then Suomi College) first archivist, kept an extensive Biographical File, much of which was used for his book, History of Finns in Michigan. (The English translation of this book is in print and available from Wayne State University Press.) The envelopes in his biographical file contain obituaries, newspaper features, genealogical information, and references to other publications (such as Suomen Silta magazine and church calendars).
